Has Glasshouse given up? Because there's a lot of discrepancies here. Is there any focus group whatsoever? And if so, is it diverse with honest feedback? First of all peonies and Florence is not a 'thing.' I know peonies to be the flower emblem of China. Secondly I know the flower emblem of Florence to be the lily. Great, lily is in the title, but Florence is famously known for its iris and rose gardens. And then at the last minute we get 'wild' peonies in the title, which are a different species altogether. I don't know, the last few Glasshouse releases have been blind buys and I have been beyond disappointed. So now I'm making sure I'm going into a store to take a cold sniff before I purchase. I bought Florence knowing this is going to be weak, but caved in with the promise of a much desired floral candle. Weak sometimes is good, especially when there is the dreaded amber in the composition. And I don't understand this fascination with dowsing everything in amber! And if it's not amber it's sugar. For the love of...can't we find a scent without amber and sugar to create? What does this smell like after 3-4 hours? A very very very very very ( I can add more, but I'll be here forever) weak High Tea without the cardamon. It almost feels like, the chandlers had barrels and barrels of High Tea wax still not completed and thought...let's just scrape out the barrels with what we have leftover and create a new candle. We'll slap on some flower names, a promising lovely destination title and put it in a fancy jar and packaging, and watch them buy it in droves. And this way, we wont waste any wax! Yes, people will buy it but they wont go for seconds. This is more disappointing than Verona, which by the way should've been titled Turkish Delight err Un-delight err…I’m out.
