Hustle and bustle, scents and smells, rock and roll. Saigon delivers an infectious blend of Lemongrass, Orange, Lime and Bergamot, that’s as energetic and vibrant as the city itself.

Glasshouse Fragrances Mini Candles have been created using only the highest quality non-toxic wax and all natural lead-free cotton wicks, which encourage a burn that is pure and intensely fragrant. Handmade in Australia.

Top: Lemongrass, Orange, Lime.
Middle: Eucalyptus, Bergamot.
Base: Sandalwood.
The most intense of fragrance that fills the room, suitable for a large area where the fragrance throw will go far.

Avoid using in drafty areas, near an open window, air duct or fan. Ensure wicks are trimmed to 7mm during use and each time candle is relit. Do not burn a Glasshouse Mini Candle (60g) for less than 1/2 hour or more than 2 hours at a time. Stop burning when 13mm of un-melted wax remains in the bottom of the jar. Never allow the candle flame to come in contact with the side of the glass.

    Not what I expected

I have the diffuser and fell in love, so I bought the mini candle to sample. The first time I lit it, all I could smell for the first hour was a strong unsavoury burning wick aroma. The wick was trimmed to 7mm exactly because I have the Glasshouse wick trimmer but I noticed the wick was not centred to begin with. Then the lemongrass finally hit (mini candles take around an hour to give their throw, so you only have an hour to enjoy a mini candle) but I was disappointed. It was a high pitched, cloying lemongrass throw and it was settling into my mouth which was not a nice experience. I eventually had to use mouthwash to get rid of this invasion. Second time I lit it, there was no burning wick aroma (thank goodness) and the lemongrass wasn't as high pitched (I don't know how else to describe it) and it was ok but I'm not wowed. I'm not a fan of cloying gourmand scents. The wick is not centred and it keeps tunneling and I have to cover the sides and a little bit on top with foil. A real drag... In my opinion the diffuser is the perfect product to experience all the delicious notes for Saigon. I guess the reeds give it that little pinch of woody depth that lemongrass needs to be grounded.
