Oriental

An Oriental fragrance is built on a sweet vanilla or amber foundation (base note), with revelations of fresh fruit or citrus during the initial experience (top note).

Oriental fragrances are one of those families that we all have heard of, yet the least understood. Contrary to the name, the fragrances are not from Asia. Oriental fragrances are progression fragrances. That is, the scent begins one way and ends another. Always interesting, Oriental fragrances have a story to tell and can be experienced over time. Due to their rich base they are usually worn in the autumn and winter. Although Oriental fragrances can be quite spicy, it is not mandatory.
